Zoom Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Bilder vom 11.07.25Etwas mehr als zwei Monate nach den ersten Hinweisen auf die Saison 3 des Abenteuer-und-Offroad-Spiels Expeditions: A MudRunner Game und nach einer vorangegangenen mehrmonatigen Betaphase, hat Entwickler Saber Interactive am Donnerstag, 10. Juli 2025 die Saison 3: Icy Shores veröffentlicht. Diese führt die Spieler in die Karpaten. Verteilt über die beiden neuen Karten Transylvanian Alps und Transylvanian Caves warten 16 Expeditionen, 13 Verträge und 8 Aufgaben darauf gemeistert zu werden.

Mit den den drei Vehikeln Haukka NS-420, KRS 63 Pathfinder und TUZ 302 Capricorn und den Drohnen Anchor Drone 4-NCR und Scout Drone SCT-6 sowie den beiden neuen Spezialisten, einem Mechaniker der den Strombedarf von Drohnen und Ausrüsten reduzieren kann und einem Manager der für erhöhte Belohnungen und die Freischaltung eines besonderen Schatzes bei Expeditionen sorgt, stehen für die unterschiedlichen Herausforderungen geeignete neue Fahrzeuge, Ausrüstung und Unterstützung bereit. Eingestimmt werden Gamer mit dem 2:14 Minuten langen Icy Shores-Trailer. Wer nicht den Year 1 Pass gekauft hat, kann die Erweiterung einzeln zum Preis von 7,99 EUR erstehen.

Neben der neuen Saison hat das Spiel auch noch ein Update erhalten. Dieses unterteilt sich in allgemeine dem Spielerlebnis zugutekommende Überarbeitungen und die gezielte Behebung von Fehlern. Alle Details dazu können unterhalb des Videos eingesehen werden.

Quality of Life improvements
-Gearboxes got a rework: Offroad and Fine-tune gearboxes now include extra manual modes
-The radar has been revamped and now runs on electricity
-The friction formula for wheels and surface materials was updated to make rock crawling feel more realistic
-You can now deliver items with a wheel drone even while it’s packed into a truck
-The pause menu is now available in the HQ to adjust settings or check the Codex anytime
-Controller users will love the improved winch object selection in the radial menu
-Co-op got smoother with several bug fixes and three new ping options added to the radial menu
-Shared progress is better: guests can now earn progress freely and build modules using their own or the host’s money if allowed
-The base modules UI got a fresh redesign along with bug fixes
-Object construction pop-ups have been improved for easier use
-We reworked how specialists are selected for a smoother flow
-A new map icon now marks quest trucks that need towing
-Newly unlocked trucks proudly display a “New” label
-The "Insufficient equipment" pop-up has been removed for less frustration
-Performance is improved in the Customize screen, especially when switching modules, suspensions, or wheels
-The "East Beskids" map now runs more smoothly
-Drones and some vehicles now resist engine shutdown when rolled over
-All vehicle engines feature torque modifiers that affect towing power
-Drone winches have been rebalanced and moved to a separate file
-Players can now access all regions even if they skipped the tutorial

-Fixed graphical artefacts and added new sounds on two vanilla maps: Coconino, SlipRock Swamps
-Fixed an issue where the Easter Livery skin was not available on the Step 310E SE
-Fixed an issue where a softlock would appear after using UI elements while adding an Anchor
-Fixed an issue where the HUD UI would disappear when recovering while a flying drone was selected
-Fixed an issue where consumables packed onto a sideboard were not displayed correctly in the truck details UI on a map
-Fixed an issue where explored by the Binoculars tasks displayed on a map as a question mark instead of a task icon
-Fixed an issue where different screens would show different range values when preparing for a deploy
-Fixed an issue where a wheel drone dragged instead of teleporting during recovery near an evacuation zone
-Fixed an issue where a wheel drone spawned in a scout carrier module after leaving a drone on a map and moving to another map
-Fixed an issue where recovery was not always carried out after confirmation in some cases
-Fixed an issue where black particles appeared when driving on mud
-Fixed an issue where unnecessary grass shadows appeared when Shadow Quality is set to Ultra
-Fixed an issue where a quantity of items that cannot be used from the inventory was shown
-Fixed an issue where the cursor was not displayed during Echo Sounder scanning in certain cases
-Fixed an issue where it was impossible to deploy because of a negative balance even a balance was restored by selling a car from a garage
